WHERE IT BEGAN
It all started at a wedding Jenny was working behind the camera, and Seth was very casually crashing the party (thank you, Jess & Liam). Thanks to unassigned seating and a mysteriously stolen chair, Seth ended up seat-less. A friend spotted the empty seat directly across from Jenny and waved him over, thanks to a stolen seat and some perfectly timed chaos.
That one missing chair changed everything.
The funniest part? This wasn’t even their first almost-meeting. Over the years, they had crossed paths more times than they realized. Seth once showed up at Jenny’s house for a chaotic water balloon fight with her brother. Years later, he photographed a wedding where Jenny was a bridesmaid standing just feet apart, completely unaware they’d someday be telling this story.
Turns out timing has a funny way of working itself out. After years of near encounters and missed moments, they found their way back to each other across a wedding table, thanks to a stolen seat.
And now they’re planning their own wedding… after crossing paths at more weddings than they can count.

OUR ENGAGEMENT STORY
Jenny had a feeling the engagement was coming soon. Between a month-long trip ahead and hitting one year together, she figured it was happening before or after so she did the obvious thing: wore white and planned to keep her nails done… until she, very Type B–ly, waited and got them done the day of just in case.
The day of started off rough. Sunburn poisoning, insanely swollen lips, and a full refusal to leave the house. After some convincing, Seth suggested she at least go to her meeting. While getting ready on FaceTime, Jenny had a thought: Is he being weird? On a whim, she threw on a white dress.
With friends’ locations mysteriously off, her parents deep-cleaning the house, and a surprise anniversary shoot on the calendar, suspicion was high until she arrived and realized she was actually there to work. Proposal officially ruled out. Or so she thought.
Then came the second location.
There was Seth, standing on the jetty with flowers. Knee down. Families popping out. Chaos, tears, and confirmation that wearing white was the right call.
The night ended exactly how Jenny would’ve planned it herself: a chill pizza party, drinks, music, and all their favorite people. Perfect timing, perfectly unhinged, and totally unforgettable.
The song Seth played the night I said yes to being his girlfriend — over the phone.
