FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Most of the celebration will take place outdoors, so we recommend dressing comfortably for an outdoor setting. The ceremony will be on the rooftop of the villa, cocktail hour by the pool, and the reception in the courtyard. Much of the evening will be on grassy areas, so we suggest wearing appropriate shoes or heel covers. It should be warm, so come prepared and comfortable as the evening unfolds. ✨

  • We kindly request formal attire for the celebration. We encourage guests to wear gowns and suits in pastels or light colors with personality. For visual inspiration, feel free to click through the prompts above. We kindly ask guests to avoid dark colors such as black, dark blue, or dark brown.

  • Due to venue restrictions, we are keeping our guest list small. If a plus one has been extended to you, it will be noted on your invitation and RSVP details.

  • If your children are included, you’ll see their names on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

  • Transportation will not be provided for this event, as it will take place in the heart of the city and is within walking distance of most accommodations.

  • As the day gets closer, we’ll have a designated person sending group texts to guests with details on where to meet and pickup locations.

  • After the wedding, transportation will be available for guests. Starting around 9 PM, our planner will have taxis lined up to take guests directly to their Airbnbs and hotels, and a larger bus will be available as the night comes to an end. We’ll share more details as the date gets closer, but rest assured transportation will be arranged to get everyone home safely. 🚕✨

  • While transportation will be covered for your arrival to the wedding, transportation back to the airport will not be included since many guests may have different travel plans after the celebration.

However, we will provide a discount code for the same transportation vendor we’re using for arrivals, offering a discounted rate of about $25 per person. Guests will be able to schedule and pay for their return trip directly with the vendor. We’ll share the code and booking details with your groups about a month before the wedding.

  • Comfortable walking shoes are a must! The streets are beautiful but often cobblestoned. We also recommend bringing sunscreen, a light layer for the evening, and keeping personal belongings secure while out and about.

  • Many places accept credit cards, but small shops, taxis, and street vendors may prefer cash. It’s a good idea to carry some pesos with you while exploring. These can be taken out at a local ATM or ordering them before your trip through your bank.

  • San Miguel is very walkable, especially in the central area where most guests will be staying. Taxis and Ubers are also easy to find if needed.

  • We’ll have a group contact available for the wedding weekend if you need assistance or have questions while you’re in San Miguel. We’re happy to help however we can!

  • If you’re traveling from the United States, no adapter is needed. Mexico uses the same outlets and voltage as the U.S.

  • A few apps that may be helpful during your trip:
Uber – easy transportation around the city
WhatsApp – many local vendors and drivers communicate through it
Google Maps – great for walking directions
Google Translate – helpful for quick translations if needed

  • If you experience an emergency during your stay, please dial 911 for local emergency services. San Miguel also has several hospitals and clinics nearby if medical attention is needed. Two well-known options are Hospital MAC San Miguel de Allende and Hospital Joya San Miguel.

You can also ask your hotel, Airbnb host, or someone in our guest group chat for assistance if you need help finding care or arranging transportation.
